The city is initiating a study to explore the feasibility of building a 50-meter indoor competition pool as an expansion to the existing Chinquapin Park Recreation Center and Aquatic Facility. The study will also look at renovations to the existing pool to convert it to a recreation pool, with additional features and amenities, along with associated programming.
The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activity is seeking citizen input on the new facility. You can do so by completing an online survey at www.alexandriava.gov/Recreation. The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, November 29.
