Program on preparing gardens for the winter set for November 16

winter_gardenLearn about preparing your garden for winter in a free program presented by Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners. Topics to be covered include composting leaves, use of cover crops to enrich the soil and keep down winter weeds, and cleaning up planting beds. The event will be held on Saturday, November 16, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Fairlington Community Center, 3308 S. Stafford Street, Arlington.
