The Land Use Committee met on January 9th to discuss two new restaurant proposals and a proposed zoning code text amendment change. The text amendment has to do with Transportation Management Plans, the City’s tool to reduce single occupant vehicle traffic. After a November presentation from City Staff, the Land Use Committee voted to support the proposed text amendment. The vote will now be taken to the DRCA membership at large. At the February 13th LUC meeting we will hear more about the proposed Restaurant next to the Farmer’s Market and a new proposal for a yoga studio and Cafe at 3051 Mt. Vernon Ave.
