The Del Ray Pizzeria won the 2014 Heart of Del Ray Award, awarded last week by the Del Ray Business Association.
More than 800 votes were cast for the five nominees, which also included Holy Cow/Pork Barrel BBQ, Mind the Mat, St. Elmos, and Taqueria Poblano.
Past winners of the award are A Show of Hands, Jen Walker, Bobi Bomar, the Neighborhood Pharmacy, and Greener Cleaner.
