A Taste of Del Ray and Well Ray Field Day, two events sponsored by the Del Ray Business Association, will be held this week.
Well Ray Field Day, an event aimed at supporting healthy families and active lifestyles, will be held on Thursday, June 5, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the field next to Bean Creative, 2213 Mount Vernon Ave.
The 6th annual Taste of Del Ray will take place on Sunday, June 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the lot behind the Union Bank (formerly the Virginia Commerce Bank) at 2401 Mount Vernon Ave and Oxford Avenue. About 14 restaurants plan to participate. Tickets are $10 in advance ($5 for children under 12 years old) and $15 on the day of the event beginning at 12:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the farmers’ market on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon and at Del Ray Variety, 203 E.
