Learn more about the city’s environmental initiatives at the monthly meeting of the Del Ray Citizens Association on Monday, June 9, at 7:30 p.m. at the Reingold building, 433 E. Monroe Ave.
Alexandria Vice Mayor Alison Silberberg and Councilwoman Del Pepper will speak on environmental sustainability in the city, and Stiles Peabody of the city’s Department of Environmental Services will speak about the city’s expanding recycling program.
Come early at 7 p.m. for refreshments and conversation with your neighbors.
The Nominations and Elections Committee announced, for election at the June 9th membership meeting, the nominees for DRCA Executive Board of 2014-15, as:
