The goal of the DRCA is to keep its members informed of many aspects of Alexandria City life, including land use, public safety, volunteer opportunities, City Commissions, Alexandria Public Schools, parks and recreation facilities, transportation, business, housing, and many other major issues which impact quality of life.
The DRCA meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second Monday of September through June, typically via zoom. See calendar for more details.
Helping my daughter and family move to Del Ray. Have been out to the stores and shops on Mt. Vernon St. And have to say I wish I was moving here too. Great place to walk to things. Easy access to public transportation and highways. Have eaten at some great places so far and am looking forward to some more. Civic and business leaders keep doing what you are doing, it’s working.
