On Friday, April 4, the Del Ray Artisans opened the exhibit “Revolution: Art and Technology” at its gallery at the Colasanto Center, located at 2704 Mount Vernon Ave. In the exhibit, artists explore their relationship with technology through computer-created art, digitally manipulated art, and more. Valerie Loomer (left) and Tina Chancey perform during a recent concert in the circa-1920s home of Deborah Brautigam and David Hirschmann on Dewitt Avenue. They performed Irish music from the earliest sources on original instruments. Chancey played baroque violin and viol, and Loomer played theorbo, early guitar, and cittern.
