The purpose of the Association is to promote the interests of the residents of Del Ray; including but not limited to ensuring land use decisions are in keeping with the Alexandria master plan for the community; protecting the integrity of the Town of Potomac Historic District; and working to enhance the quality of life in Del Ray.
Del Ray is the area bounded on the south by Braddock Road, on the west by Russell Road, on the north by East Glebe and West Glebe Roads, on the east by Jefferson Davis Highway (U.S. Route 1), and on the southeast by the CSX rail tracks intersecting Jefferson Davis Highway to Braddock Road.
The purpose will be accomplished through fostering constructive cooperation with local officials without regard to any political party affiliation; engagement with the business community; encouraging free and open discussion on all matters properly before the Association; and stimulating community engagement and responsible citizenship.
