The DRCA Land Use Committee will meet on Thursday, Dec. 12, to hear a proposal for a new restaurant at 2309 Mount Vernon Ave., the former home of State Farm Insurance. The site is on the south side of the farmer’s market site and parking lot. The small restaurant (40 indoor and 20 outdoor seats) is expected to offer sandwiches, salads, and gelato.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center.
