Representatives of the Alexandria Police Foundation have requested that the DRCA consider a $1,000 contribution to a Fallen Officers Memorial to Alexandria police officers who have died in the line of duty. We will consider the request at our meeting tomorrow.
Contributors of at least $1,000 will have their names inscribed on the giving wall of the memorial, which is to be located at the police department headquarters on Wheeler Avenue.
