The DRCA hosted Mayor Justin Wilson in our December member meeting, held on Wednesday December 13 – the same day that a potential sports and entertainment campus including an Arena for the Washington Wizards and Capitals was announced. Nearly 500 citizens of Del Ray and other neighboring associations joined us for the session. We are sharing this recording of the session with Mayor Wilson’s permission.
The DRCA collected over 200 questions from the community during this session and we have shared those with the city as well. Stay tuned for more updates and information as we have them. We will continue to be engaged on this issue as we enter the community engagement phase.
