In response to a report of changes at fire station 202 on East Windsor Avenue in Del Ray, I asked City Councilman Justin Wilson for more information. He produced a response from Acting Fire Chief Andrew Snead, who said that there are “absolutely no plans to change resources or services at Fire Station 202. Medic 202 and the Safety Officer will continue to respond from that work location. Currently, we have an EMS simulation lab (for EMS training) operating in that station. The Alexandria Fire volunteers support vehicle is also stationed at this location.”
